People who came close to Bobby, know that he loved food, drinks, books and movies.
As the saying goes, "You can never know how many lives you've touched, so just know it's far more than you think. Even the tiniest acts of love, kindness, and compassion can have a massive ripple effect." --- we miss you!
He was a man of large appetites. A proud foodie, he was quite adventurous and would never shy away from any cuisine. ‘If it can be made, it can be eaten… and it will be.’ Watching him order a drink, with all the appropriate mixers, supplements and snack was the stuff of legends.
One could say, without any exaggeration or hyperbole, that one has never seen anyone - close friends, mere acquaintances, colleagues, family members - utter anything remotely bad or offensive about Bobby. We never have. It shouldn’t surprise us one bit that anyone who’s fortunate enough to come into his orbit takes about a minute or two to fall in love with him and remain that way for the rest of their ride together. And what a ride...
You could fill large rooms with the books and movies Bobby has collected over the years. How do we know that? Well, he’s done exactly that. Fill large rooms, floor to ceiling, with paperbacks he’s collected (and that’s after accounting for all those books he had lent to whoever that came asking but never returned them). As tech evolved from cassette tapes to CDs, or from VHS to Laserdisc (that’s right) to DVDs so have his collections. A true connoisseur of art. It’s a shame he made an early exit and we’ll never get to see him grow into a formidable older gentleman of leisure. If there was anyone destined to fill that role, that’s our guy.
Of course, one could just go on and on with what makes him so special and unique. We miss you bro...
